We
emphasize positive spirituality in
all of its potentiality
The
fair was founded by Scott Arnold. It was through his wisdom and forethought that
brought the vision of the Iowa Metaphysical Fair into focus and allowed us to
grow into what we are today. We are hoping that you will participate in this new
beginning and hope that you will feel that this is a new beginning for the
metaphysical community in Iowa.
ALL
Board or committee meetings are held in executive session.
Any one may request to attend or speak at
a board meeting must contact the
board in writing. If approved you will be sent info wear to attend the meeting
being allowed to speak at a meeting does
not imply you may attend the whole meeting. It is up to the board at the time of
the meeting the length of time allowed at board meetings

IMF Testing Guidelines
All vendors who provide a service must be tested.
Test will be done by IMF volunteers.
You must do tests on 3 people.
We test for accuracy, professionalism, ability to communicate, etc.
You cannot be vouched for instead of testing.
We expect you to do what you would do at the fair (a 15 min session etc.)
Testers are instructed not to give feedback during test.
Each modality needs to be tested (tarot, healing, general reading etc.)
You can combine modalities during test.
Anyone who has not worked the fair for 2 years need to retest.
If you add a modality you need to be tested.
You cannot use a book, instruction guide, etc. during test or at the fair.
If you do not pass you can retest next year.
Please be respectful of all IMF testers.
The basic question asked of all testers is how you would feel if you paid for this Service.
Tests are done over the phone. If you need to make other arrangements contact Kayde.
Please remember everyone at the IMF has tested, including all board members

Bios Submissions Guidelines
Please
send your bios completed it will be
put on the web site exactly as we
receive it
If you want to make changes to your bio send the fixed or new bio
completed. We
do not make any changes or add-ons to bios. We will place the new bio on the web site.
As
a reminder, please be sure to proof
your bio before submitting it we do
not review bios for content or
spelling. Any content or spelling
error is the sole responsibility of
the vendor.

Note
to vendors
All tables /spaces for the fair are on a first come basis. If we don’t receive your application we assume you are not attending.
We do not hold
spaces for anyone nor do we contact people if we don’t get their application.
If you won a space or won a discount coupon you need to send the coupon in with your application.
Having
a coupon or free space dose not guarantee you a space, it is still on a first
come basis.
The only way to make sure you have a space is to get your application in early
Returned check fees policy
A $25.00 service f
It is up to IMF if we will hold a table or space in the case of a returned check
For complaints or problems, contact the Fair Manager,
who is here to help you. Most problems are handled at this level.
Go to the IMF Booth by the front entrance and let them know.
IMF does not assume any responsibility or liability for; children and the behavior of all minors are the sole responsibility of their parent(s) or guardian(s),
and parents/guardians may be held legally liable for all acts of the children under their care. Please make sure that minors act responsibly, and in consideration of others, at all times.
For example: No running; no twirling on banisters; no climbing on structures, no “horseplay” (e.g., wrestling, gymnastics, playing “tag,” throwing items at each other, etc.)
in the food areas or around other guests.
Please remember that the Fair is NOT a daycare facility. Anyone choosing
to leave their minors at the fair is still responsible for them—in no event
does the IMF assume that responsibility.
And any unattended minors found will be detained and the police will be contacted. Any Minors in violation of the fairs rules may be ejected.
Parents/guardians will be held legally liable for damage
If your child breaks it, you buy it
